Does it feel like your mind has been running a marathon?

It’s exhausting — constantly overthinking and overanalyzing every interaction to figure out where you might’ve messed up. Everything’s been changing so fast lately, and it’s beginning to feel like more than you can handle.

Maybe you’ve been doubting yourself and your choices, beating yourself up over every little thing. You don’t know what you want to do with your life or even who you want to be, all you know is that you don’t feel like you’re where you “should” be. As much as you want to make a change, you’re unsure of where to start.

Lately, you might be…

  • Having trouble adjusting to a new normal after big life changes

  • Struggling with the pressure and stress of college or your job

  • Feeling down and depressed, unable to find motivation & struggling to function

  • Having a hard time making decisions

  • Thinking often about something from your past that you’d like to move on from

  • Feeling especially lonely or disconnected, like your family & friends don’t understand you

You get to define your future.

Let’s find a path to the one you want.

How therapy works

Therapy can help you understand who you are & what you need to thrive.

Therapy can offer a place to show up as you are without the external pressure and expectations. In our work together, you will have opportunities for growth and understanding, allowing you to connect with what truly matters to you and who you want to become. In this space, you can begin to understand your anxiety, where it comes from, and how to manage it with more ease. I’ll equip you with coping tools to get through difficult moments and the communication skills to ask for what you want and need.

It’s possible to not be so hard on yourself when you make mistakes (because everyone does!). Through our sessions, you can cultivate a newfound sense of self-compassion and confidence in your ability to navigate life’s challenges that will guide you toward a life you truly love.

My approach

In therapy with me…

  • You’re the expert on your life, so every single part of our work together will be a collaborative effort. We’ll explore and define not only your feelings, but also your identity and values. You’ll have more clarity about what you want and need out of life and more awareness of your strengths so you can navigate the tough stuff life throws at you.

  • Your story matters. As we start working together, I’ll take the time to get to know you and what’s been going on in your life. We’ll get curious about what’s been holding you back and start to uncover how your past could be impacting your present. We’ll also set some goals for our work together, always leaving room for those goals to evolve and change as time goes on.

  • Once we’ve established what you’d like to accomplish in therapy, we’ll get started with making it happen. We’ll work together to learn what healthy relationships should feel like, and how to manage the stress and anxiety that come up day-to-day. I will continually support you through the ups and downs as you learn more about yourself and begin to understand where the challenges you’re facing are coming from.

You’ll discover:

  • Clarity & assurance – Figure out what you want to do and who you want to be in a judgment-free space

  • Skills for stress & anxiety – Cultivate calm & find more balance in your life.

  • Independence – Have everything you need to stand on your own with confidence.

  • Understanding & authenticity – Gain insight into where your anxiety or sadness comes from and feel like your truest self.

Frequently asked questions about Anxiety & Depression therapy

  • The length of time you’re in therapy is totally up to you. My goal is to help you feel better, so whether the path to that is short or long-term, I’m here for it. The important thing is that no matter what, our sessions don’t feel stagnant and you feel your time is being well-spent. So, we’ll check in regularly on your progress and feelings about your therapy experience, and adjust our approach or revise goals as needed.

  • Absolutely. Anxiety can manifest in physical symptoms like rapid heartbeat, muscle tension, and stomach issues. It's the body's way of responding to perceived threats, and can even cause more chronic issues if not addressed.

  • Anxiety can come from many sources, such as stressful life events, upbringing, or a combination of factors. It's like your brain's alarm system being a bit too sensitive. Therapy helps explore these factors and develop strategies to manage and reduce anxiety.
